Amiee’s Story

“There are people who care. There are people that are looking out for other people.”

Amiee came to Cross Roads House in 2019 with her mother and four siblings. She is now in stable, permanent housing and attending college to earn her degree in child psychology. As a child who experienced homelessness, she wants to help those who are now in crisis. She credits CRH case management with helping her to access opportunities to thrive and our donors with providing important support while she was here.

In the past year, gifts from donors like you made such a difference. Here's how:
Cross Roads House provided 26,047 bed nights of shelter to 461 people, including 28 families with 50 children.
Our emergency shelter for single adults was over capacity 35% of the year.
The average length of stay for all residents was 57 days.
